I really enjoyed Unreasonable Hospitality on audio! It was great for walks and chores. Kept my mind engaged and got me thinking but also entertaining as heck!
Ooo! Maybe you are the person who recommended it to me! I couldn't for the life of me remember where I'd heard about it from. I actually started it last night and I probably stayed up a bit too late because it's already SO GOOD.
I'm currently reading The Hobbit (by myself) and with my daughter, we're reading The Wizard of Oz. I guess I'm on a bit of a classic kick, not that I mind. I'll be grabbing a copy of The Well-Trained Mind!
She’s 6! And she’s seen the movie so she loves the story. we’re definitely getting through it more slowly than our usual read alouds, but it’s still been fun.
