Meet the Austins!! It was a childhood favorite series but #4 was my favorite. I read it so often. Makes me happy that you’re reading them! I can’t wait to get a hold of Demon Copperhead after I finish a few other things.
I also loved A Ring of Endless Light! I checked it out from our school library on multiple occasions, and I still remember the shape and size and cover of that copy. But our library apparently did not have the rest of the series, or I would have for sure read them, too!
I am so curious to hear what you think of Demon Copperhead!
Libraries really are the best!! Loved Demon Copperhead & Tom Lake, and after recently finishing the Crosswicks Journals, I have reading (or re-reading) everything Madeline L’Engle ever wrote on my to do list!
Ok ok, I am now officially moving Tom Lake and Demon Copperhead to the top of my TBR!
They are both so good, and so wildly different!

I'm curious too. I'm from the area the story is set in and a friend who also is said it was hard to read because of that.

That sounds like a worthy goal for 2024 (or life in general!)!
