Do you like books?

Do you, like me, also have books stacked in every nook and cranny of the house and probably have enough to read on your shelves right now for the rest of forever without ever getting a single recommendation more… and yet you save lists of books to read and to buy and fill your virtual and non-virtual shopping carts with more books?

Then you’re in a good place, fellow reader.

Once a month, I’ll send a newsletter with what I’ve read, a short review of each book, and if I think you should read it, too.

That’s my entire plan so far. It might evolve—all good things do.

First edition of Inkwells & Images coming September 2021.

What I Read

While my happy place is usually literary fiction, I do read pretty widely. And since “I read widely” seems like a term lots of people use to sound more bourgeoise than necessary, I’ll elaborate: I read literary fiction, genre fiction, nonfiction (from blog-to-book types to history-heavy tomes), the occasional graphic novel, plenty of YA and “chick lit”, some faith-oriented stuff, and whatever else I find interesting or recommended to me by trusted sources.

Got something you think I’d like? Let me know and I’ll see if I need to give it a shot.

Even if your stacks are groaning under the weight of the books you already promised to read, of course you need to know about more books that might keep them company.
